Shaina Glass has been in education for the last 16 years, educating students and teachers alike. Her goal has always been to share her knowledge and love of learning in new, innovative ways with ALL Learners (young and older).

Shaina is a conference presenter, a CS policy advocator, and serves as an educational consultant for schools in the Houston area, and across the country.

Shaina's impact on schools, districts, CS/STEM and educational technology communities are noteworthy. She has developed a strong personal learning network through social media, STEM, Computer Science and EdTech ambassador programs. Shaina attends national, local, and regional conferences, and seeks out new technologies, and educational opportunities.

Shaina holds a Masters degree from Sam Houston State University in the field of Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Technology. She is a graduate from Morgan State University, receiving a B.A. in Fine Arts.

She is currently a Professional Learning Manager with the Computer Science Teachers Association as well as a Code.org Regional Program Manager with the University of Texas-Austin as well as a Computer Science Fundamentals Affiliate. She currently is the President of CSTA Greater Houston and holds multiple certifications, including Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, BrainPOP Certified Educator, Professional Development (PD) Advisor, RemindCE, ClassDojo Mentor, and Discovery Education Network STAR and Ambassador.
